3 Weeks Old!

Our crew is 3 weeks old today!! They are so much fun and are really staring to show their individual personalities.

-CHIP-

How can  you not love that sweet little face.  Chip is a real sweetheart and is starting to look like a Schnauzer.  He is going to be a Liver/Pepper and has a really rich red tinted coat.  He also has a little bit of white on his toes and on his chest.

-PRINCE-
Prince is a real looker, he is the same Liver/Pepper as his brother but he is much lighter and has striking phantom markings. He is the cuddler of the bunch and loves to curl up with whoever his holding him.

-SPARKLE-

Sparkle is going to be a real beauty.  She is going to be a Salt and Pepper with black points and phantom markings.  She is the most playful of the group right now and is always looking for a playmate.

-JASMINE-

Jasmine is our tiny little black beauty.  She has a gorgeous thick jet black coat with striking phantom markings and white on the tips of her toes.  Jasmine also likes to cuddle but she can be feisty when it comes to getting her fare share of the food and at 1/2 the size of her litter mates she really has to fight to get in there.

2 Weeks Old!!

2 Weeks Old!!

The Boys

The Girls
Hard to believe the puppies are two weeks old already.  Sparkle's eyes opened yesterday and Prince and Chip's opened today.  Jasmine's are still closed.  They are starting to show us a little bit of their personalities and becoming more mobile.

-Chip-

Chip is a darling Liver/Pepper male with white marking on his chest and all 4 feet.  Liver/Pepper is similar to a Salt & Pepper only brown.  He will be a frosted chocolate color when fully grown. Chip is the most vocal of the bunch, as you can see in the second picture, it was too close to his feeding time and he was not liking having to "pose".

-Prince-

Prince is also a Liver/Pepper male only he is lighter and has phantom markings.  He also has the most hair out of all the puppies and may have inherited his sire's Super Mega coat. He is going to be gorgeous with his unique coloring, phantom markings and beautiful coat. Prince is our little snuggle bug and will just snuggle right down with whoever is holding him and take a nap.

-Sparkle-

Sparkle is a Salt & Pepper female with phantom markings.  She is a doll and also likes to be held and snuggled.  She was the easiest to take pictures of because she was just content to snuggle in the blankets.

-Jasmine-

Jasmine is a Black and Silver female with very distinguished phantom markings.  She also has white tips on all 4 feet.  Jasmine is tiny and is only 1/2 the size of the other 3 puppies.  She loves to sleep on her back, as you can tell in the second picture.

3 Days Old!!

Introducing...

Chip
Chip is a Liver Pepper male, which is similar to a Salt and Pepper meaning each hair has three bands of color giving them a frosted chocolate appearance. Very unique. Chip has cute white markings on his chest and chin. Should be quite the handsome guy when he grows up.

 Prince
Prince is also a Liver Pepper male but he is quite a bit lighter than his brother.  Prince also has very distinguished phantom markings.  He's going to be beautiful when he grows up.

 Sparkle
Sparkle is an absolute doll!! She is a Salt & Pepper female who also has phantom markings.

 Jasmine
Jasmine is our tiny little girl, she is currently about 3 ounces smaller than the rest of the litter!! She is jet black with very striking phantom silver markings.  She is going to be a tiny little black beauty. She also has some darling white 'frosting' on the toes of all four of her feet.

Check back on Saturday for their 1 week old pictures.

The Puppies are Here!!

The puppies were born tonight around 8:00 p.m. 2 boys and 2 girls!! One black and silver girl with phantom markings, one liver pepper girl, one liver pepper boy and one girl who is either going to be salt and pepper or liver pepper.
It was a crazy night around here in between puppies being born and puking kids... So I wasn't able to get any good individual shots but I will do them tomorrow morning.

Where they are Now...Daisy

Daisy is just as cute as can be with a personality to match. Luckily our paths have crossed a few times and I've been able to see Daisy.  She is a petite little thing with a beautiful dark black coat and striking black markings.

Where they are Now...Oliver

I thought it would be fun to do an update on Bailey's first litter now that they are almost 2 years old...
Oliver's story is kind of different.  He was our first puppy sold and he went to live with a cute lady not too far from here.  Unfortunately her circumstances changed and she was no longer able to keep Oliver and was desperately trying to find her beloved pet a new "forever" home.  I was browsing the Miniature Schnauzer ads on KSL, one of my favorite hobbies, and came across Oliver's ad. My mom and dad had recently lost their pet Miniature Schnauzer and were without a dog.  I contacted Oliver's owner the next day and was able to get him back from her and he now has his new "forever" home with my parents and I get to see him all the time.

He is laid back and mellow and loves to follow my mom around the house and go for long walks at the nearby park or for rides in the car.  I'm so glad that Oliver's story turned out with a happy ending.  One of my biggest fears is that somebody will not be able to take care of one of our puppies and I hope that if this ever happens to anyone else in the future that they will feel like they can contact me and ask for help.  I want all of them to end up in the best place possible.

Grooming Day!

Grooming day is always an event around here... Over the summer we began grooming the dogs ourselves and are really enjoying the freedom of being able to do it whenever we want.  With Tanner's massive coat he has to be groomed every 6 weeks.  Here are a few pics of them all clean and fluffy.  You can see more on their own additional pages.
